Our free checkers cover 8 key benefit areas: Universal Credit, PIP, Carer's Allowance, Council Tax Reduction, Housing Benefit, Child Benefit, Pension Credit, and benefits for people who are sick or disabled.

We also publish plain-English guides to help you understand how the UK benefits system works — who qualifies, how to claim, and what to watch out for.

All calculations use 2026/27 DWP and HMRC rates. Results are estimates only — your actual entitlement is determined by DWP and HMRC based on a full assessment.

How we keep our content accurate
